Exmark Promotes Allen Meyer to Lazer Z Product Manager

Beatrice, Neb. (August 23, 2005) - Exmark Manufacturing, the leading manufacturer of commercial mowers in the professional turf industry has announced the promotion of Allen Meyer to Product Manager for its popular line of Lazer Z riding mowers.

Exmark Director of Sales and Marketing Jeff Hallgren announced Meyer's new assignment saying, "Allen is a capable and knowledgeable leader whose strong technical background will be important in guiding development of Lazer Z products for the future."

Hallgren said that Meyer's responsibilities in his new assignment will combine responsibility for sales planning and implementing new product development efforts, as well as participating in efforts to enhance current Lazer Z mowing products.

Meyer assumes his new role after managing the Exmark Engineering Laboratory since joining the company in 2001. A native of Scotia, Nebraska, he received an engineering degree from the University of Nebraska in 1984. Since then, he has gained more than 20 years experience in product engineering, development and testing including work with such companies as Case-IH, Cushman and National Crane.

Exmark Manufacturing was incorporated in 1982 and has been engaged, since its inception, in the design and manufacture of mid-size commercial walk-behind and riding lawn mowers for the landscape professional.   In addition to designing, building and marketing quality turf care equipment, Exmark's goal is total customer satisfaction.   Products are sold to distributors, who in turn, market to dealers throughout the continental United States and Canada.
