Exmark Names Dave Converse as Director of Engineering

Beatrice, Neb. (August 23, 2005) - Exmark Manufacturing, the leading manufacturer of commercial mowers in the professional turf industry has announced the appointment of Dave Converse as Director of Engineering.

In making the announcement Exmark President Mark Stinson said,   "We are very pleased to have someone with Dave's breadth of experience lead our engineering task force. His engineering background - which encompasses both processes and products in a wide range of heavy-duty high performance equipment - will be an important asset in maintaining the design and performance superiority of Exmark products."

Converse joins Exmark after having served as Director of Product Engineering for the Elgin Sweeper Company, Elgin, IL. Prior to this he held both engineering and management positions with the Nissan Forklift Corporation, Marengo, IL.   Converse has also worked in manufacturing engineering and business systems development for the Boeing Corporation, Seattle, WA.

Exmark Manufacturing was incorporated in 1982 and has been engaged, since its inception, in the design and manufacture of mid-size commercial walk-behind and riding lawn mowers for the landscape professional.   In addition to designing, building and marketing quality turf care equipment, Exmark's goal is total customer satisfaction.   Products are sold to distributors, who in turn, market to dealers throughout the continental United States and Canada.
