Exmark Names Garry Busboom Director of Research and Development

Beatrice, Neb. (August 23, 2005) - Exmark Manufacturing, the leading manufacturer of commercial mowers in the professional turf industry has appointed Garry Busboom to the post of Director of Research and Development.

"Garry is especially well qualified to take on this important assignment," said Exmark President Mark Stinson. "Over the past twenty years he has played an increasingly significant role in all aspects of our product engineering and his work has greatly contributed to our growth and market leadership.   Garry's credibility as the head of Exmark's research and development efforts is also evidenced by the fact that he has been granted twenty patents and has several others in process."

Busboom joined Exmark's engineering department as Chief Engineer in 1985. He became Director of Engineering in 199l and served in this post until being named Director of Research and Development.   Prior to this he worked with the Allis Chalmers Corporation, Independence, Missouri, as a project engineer.

A native of Nebraska, Busboom attended the University of Nebraska where he received a B.S. degree in Agricultural Engineering in 1976.

Exmark Manufacturing was incorporated in 1982 and has been engaged, since its inception, in the design and manufacture of mid-size commercial walk-behind and riding lawn mowers for the landscape professional.   In addition to designing, building and marketing quality turf care equipment, Exmark's goal is total customer satisfaction.   Products are sold to distributors, who in turn, market to dealers throughout the continental United States and Canada.
