Exmark Recognizes Three Distributors For 20 Years Of Service

Beatrice, Neb. (April 14, 2004) - Exmark Manufacturing, the leading manufacturer of commercial mowers in the professional turf industry, has recognized three of its leading distributors for completing 20 years of service.   Distributors recognized include:

•  Lawn Equipment Parts Company (LEPCO), located in Landisville, PA, Jeff Clark, president.

•  Outdoor Equipment Distributors, Inc . (OED), located in Raleigh, NC, Rob Zucker, president.

•  Blalock Machinery & Equipment Company , located in College Park, GA, Bill Blalock, president.

The awards were presented during individual ceremonies with each of the three distributors.   In his announcement of the awards, Exmark National Sales Manager Bruce Cooper said, "We are very proud of our 20-year association with these outstanding firms.   They represent partnerships that have grown continually stronger in the commitment to serve the end-users of commercial mowers with the highest-quality products and value-added services."

Exmark sells its mowers and accessories to its regional distributors.   The distributors then market the products to dealers throughout the United States and Canada.   Cooper said that the nature of the distributor/dealer relationship is critical to the success of Exmark as a company.   "Our distributors understand the unique needs of dealers in their regions of the country.   This market understanding helps our dealers maximize their profitability, and it keeps Exmark focused on developing products that enhance end-user productivity and profitability."

Exmark Manufacturing was incorporated in 1982 and has been engaged, since its inception, in the design and manufacture of mid-size commercial walk behind and riding lawnmowers for the landscape professional.   In addition to designing, building and marketing quality turf care equipment, Exmark's goal is total customer satisfaction.   Products are sold to distributors, who in turn, market to dealers throughout the continental United States and Canada.
