EXMARK AWARDS EXTREME CUP TO POWER EQUIPMENT DISTRIBUTORS

Beatrice, Neb. (February 9, 2007) – Power Equipment Distributors, Inc., of Richmond, Mich., has been awarded the Extreme Cup by Exmark Manufacturing for outstanding service in parts distribution and sales for 2006.

Exmark awards the Extreme Cup annually to the most outstanding manager or parts department of a company that distributes Exmark products.

The warehouse team at PED was awarded the Extreme Cup during a reception in Richmond, Mich. PED Vice President and Parts Department Manager Tom Weingartz accepted the award. "Exmark is the number one commercial manufacturer of riding mowers, so this award means a lot to our company," Weingartz said. "We strive for perfection and to give our customers the best service possible, so to win the Extreme Cup is quite an honor."

To determine the winner of the Extreme Cup, Exmark evaluated parts distributors nationwide in several categories, such as order fill rate to dealers, rate of increase in sales and marketing efforts for Exmark parts. PED was nominated for the award by Paul Blankenfeld, Exmark's regional sales manager.

Landscape professionals prefer Exmark 2-to-1 over any other brand of commercial zero-turn, riding lawnmowers.

PED is a wholesale distributorship of outdoor equipment and engine parts. They serve dealers located in Michigan, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Ohio, West Virginia and Wisconsin. PED has been distributing Exmark riding lawn mowers for more than 15 years.
