News Releases:For Immediate Release EXMARK'S QUEST ZERO-TURN MOWER GIVES HOMEOWNERS COMMERCIAL QUALITYBeatrice, Neb. (March 6, 2007) – With the introduction of the Quest premium homeowner Z, Exmark Manufacturing is now offering homeowners the same engineering and precision cut that has made the company the leading maker of commercial zero-turn riding mowers. Quest, Exmark's first zero-turn mower built strictly for homeowners, delivers the same performance that landscape professionals expect from an Exmark riding mower. Landscape professionals prefer Exmark 2-to-1 over any other zero-turn commercial rider. Exmark, based in Beatrice, Neb., has been manufacturing commercial zero-turn riding mowers for 25 years. "When we decided to create a zero-turn riding mower for homeowners, we vowed not to sacrifice the standards of excellence that continue to make Exmark the leader in the industry," said Mark Stinson, general manager of Exmark. "Homeowners in search of a perfect lawn can get the same professional results with Quest, time after time." Quest is built with the same heavy-duty construction landscape professionals expect from an Exmark. The patented cutting-deck design results in a professional cut, and it's made with 10-gauge steel to ensure its durability. Quest comes with a 48- or 52-inch, side-discharge deck, and offers the option to bag or mulch the grass clippings. Quest also comes with either a 22- or 24-horsepower Briggs & Stratton Extended Life Series Twin-Cycle engine, and will deliver professional results at speeds up to 7 mph. Several accessories are available with Quest, such as a sun shade, a hitch kit that can tow up to 80 pounds, a two-bag collection system that can capture up to six bushels of clippings, a light kit and a micro-mulch system that will disperse leaves and grass deep into the turf. "We used our knowledge and engineering expertise to create our very first homeowner model and because of it, we think Quest will stand out from its competitors," Stinson said. "We think homeowners who use Quest are going to love it as much as landscape professionals love using Exmark's commercial mowers."
