(August 29, 2007) – Recent improvements to Exmark's Metro® 21 have made the industry's most durable walk-behind mower even more reliable. The Metro 21, a versatile mower ideal for finish and trim work, now features an improved front pivot design and increased handle diameter for enhanced commercial durability. The shifter mechanism has been repositioned on top of the transmission for increased reliability and performance. The Metro 21 is available with a 6 hp Kawasaki or 5.5 hp Honda engine. Kawasaki units are now powered by the Kai series engine, featuring an improved air filtration system that increases reliability and reduces maintenance. In addition, cushioned Traction and Blade Brake Controls bails deliver maximum comfort for users.
